V1X swan-neck carbon wing for high-downforce G87 builds
The Verus V1X kit pairs a larger V1X carbon airfoil with adjustable top-mounted swan-neck uprights and a vehicle-specific G87 M2 boot-lid installation system. Developed through ANSYS optimisation and CFD for track builds using significant front aero.

✓Large V1X aerodynamic profile
The V1X airfoil is designed for substantial rear aerodynamic load and complementary high-capacity front splitters.
✓Adjustable track setup
The 0–15° wing setting range and supplied Gurney flap allow the rear aero package to be configured for the car.
✓Autoclave-cured carbon
A 2×2 twill pre-preg carbon wing assembly with vented carbon endplates and high-gloss clear coat.
✓Machined vehicle-specific supports
CNC-machined aluminium swan-neck uprights and boot mounts are developed around the factory G87 lid.
Design & construction
Verus developed the G87 V1X airfoil with optimisation software, CFD and on-car testing. The top-mounted uprights keep the wing's low-pressure underside relatively unobstructed, while the larger airfoil and supplied Gurney flap broaden the available rear-aero setup range.
Fitment & installation
For the BMW G87 M2 original boot lid. Install the machined uprights, boot mounts, stainless spacers and carbon wing with the manufacturer's drilling template and Verus hardware. Professional mounting and front-to-rear aero setup are recommended before circuit use.
