SPEEDTUNE · AUTOCLAVE DRY CARBON
A Speedtune dry-carbon upper strut brace developed for supported S58-powered G80/G81 M3 and G82/G83 M4 engine bays. Its exposed-carbon crossbar and CNC-machined aluminium mounts combine a purposeful under-bonnet finish with a structural brace design.
Material & Construction
Pre-impregnated (pre-preg) dry carbon fibre, cured in an autoclave under controlled high temperature and pressure. This manufacturing process controls resin content to deliver a lightweight, high-strength, rigid composite. The material offers heat and corrosion resistance for its intended automotive application. The visible carbon weave is finished as specified for this product.

- Upper strut-tower connection — Connects the supported original front strut mounting areas through a cross-bay brace.
- Dry-carbon centre section — An exposed-carbon beam adds a lightweight composite component to the S58 engine bay.
- Machined aluminium end mounts — CNC-produced mounting pieces create a defined connection at the supported original strut points.
- Coordinated engine-bay styling — Pairs with a dry-carbon S58 engine cover and other visible carbon components.
Fitment & Installation
Install at the corresponding original G8X front strut mounting locations with the manufacturer-specified hardware and torque sequence. Check clearance around the factory or aftermarket intake, engine cover and bonnet before driving.
