RACING LAB · AUTOCLAVE DRY CARBON
A precision-moulded dry-carbon engine cover for the BMW G80/G81 M3, G82/G83 M4 and G87 M2 S58. Its exposed gloss weave and original-inspired profile make the engine cover a focal point alongside a matching carbon intake or strut brace.
Material & Construction
Pre-impregnated (pre-preg) dry carbon fibre, cured in an autoclave under controlled high temperature and pressure. This manufacturing process controls resin content to deliver a lightweight, high-strength, rigid composite. The material offers heat and corrosion resistance for its intended automotive application. The visible carbon weave is finished as specified for this product.

- Scan-based development — Vehicle scanning and CNC mould tooling support defined contours and consistent visible edges.
- Premium carbon surface — A clear-coated pre-preg weave replaces the appearance of the conventional engine-cover shell.
- Coordinated engine-bay styling — Complements carbon intakes and upper strut braces across the G8X and G87 S58 platforms.
Fitment & Installation
Fit to the compatible original S58 engine-cover mounting points. Transfer compatible factory grommets or attachments where the kit requires them, seat the cover securely and check clearance around any aftermarket intake or upper strut brace.
