Engineering & installation insights
The front lip extends the visual line of the J01 front bumper and gives the lower edge a more defined profile. For road use, adequate ground clearance and secure attachment are essential; a front lip alone should not be assumed to create a quantified increase in downforce.
Confirm whether your car has the standard or JCW bumper, as their lower openings and mounting contours can differ. Test fit the part before final fixing and recheck the mounting points after the first few drives, especially if the vehicle is lowered.
