Description
RACING LAB · AUTOCLAVE DRY CARBON
A matching pair of pre-preg dry-carbon replacement mirror caps for the BMW F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and supported F87 M2 Competition mirror housings. The sculpted M Performance-inspired shape and gloss exposed-carbon finish bring a refined motorsport detail to both sides of the car.
Material & Construction
Pre-impregnated (pre-preg) dry carbon fibre, cured in an autoclave under controlled high temperature and pressure. This manufacturing process controls resin content to deliver a lightweight, high-strength, rigid composite. The material offers heat and corrosion resistance for its intended automotive application. The visible carbon weave is finished as specified for this product.
Product Features
- M Performance-inspired shape — A defined carbon mirror silhouette that complements the original BMW M exterior styling.
- Replacement-style construction — Moulded to match compatible factory mirror housings for a clean, integrated finish.
- Premium carbon surface — Pre-preg construction provides a visible woven finish beneath a high-gloss clear coat.
- Complete exterior pairing — Matched left and right caps coordinate with a carbon front lip, side skirts and rear aero.
Fitment & Installation
Remove the original compatible mirror caps and fit the replacement pair at the corresponding retaining points. Align the seams around the mirror housing and keep the original mirror and indicator functions unobstructed. For vehicles with cameras or different factory mirror housings, the correct housing configuration should be matched before fitting.
